House Bill 924 is a sprawling multi-million dollar bundle of state-funded trusts aimed at roads, bridges, pensions and early childhood education, among other initiatives. Child care providers say the bill should make a difference for those who face financial and technical difficulties in trying to meet the growing needs of families in their communities.
